The Company
The company is a leading provider of stem cell storage dedicated to delivering paramount storage and process facilities worldwide currently storing more samples than any other UK private bank. They were one of the first companies to provide stem cell storage in the UK and the first company offering to store whole cord blood as well as volume reduced samples.

The Role
This is an excellent opportunity to join this innovative company as a Laboratory Operator processing and cryogenically storing stem cell samples. Your role is to process samples with strict adherence to SOP`s and guidelines in their GMP approved laboratory. The samples are processed under aseptic conditions using CAT A / B clean room technology. Once processed and stored there is a need to continually assess and validate the samples to ensure regulatory and legal requirements are at all times adhered to.

This role will work under a rotational shift pattern, requiring some weekend and evening cover, which will be agreed in advance. Due to nature of the role accuracy is essential. Some manual handling such as loading and unloading cryotanks will be required. Experience
You will need to have experience of working in a laboratory environment either during your degree or from a commercial role, preferably under aseptic conditions but this is not essential as training will be given. Experience of GMP and / or GLP with experience of sample processing is an advantage to your application, as would be an interest in regenerative therapy, stem cell storage and other work that comes under the Human Tissue Authority (HTA).

Due to the need to be on call it would be preferable that you have your own transport and live within a 20 mile radius of the company.
