Our growing vendor partner is a recognized leader in digital sample management software and consultancy solutions. Last year saw them receive significant investment from new owners which has been the catalyst to their growth. Their gold standard software platform is trusted by pharma, biotech and CRO’s worldwide and adds value through providing full inventory tracking capabilities coupled with workflow management and sample ordering.

Overview:
To develop an Americas business channel to ensure repeatable and continued business growth. I am seeking a highly motivated individual to grow a major account customer base throughout the Americas. You will be a results-driven sales professional used to developing and expediting scientific software sales. You will also have experience of managing top 20 bio pharma organisations, identify and develop new large business accounts, provide market intelligence and develop and nurture customer relationships to extend the value of our clients solution within existing and new customer accounts.

Responsibilities:
• Work with the Head of Sales (Americas) to develop an Americas business plan to ensure repeatable and continued business growth.
• Achieve and exceed sales quota for dedicated region.
• Generate new opportunities and build and develop a robust and well qualified pipeline.
• Manage and maintain the overall sales process and pipeline and ensure all sales administration is up to date.
• Create timely customer proposals, quotations and respond to RFIs and RFPs.
• Attend, support, and facilitate conferences, exhibitions, and customer events.
• Deliver customer presentations.
• Work with technical staff on demo deliveries.

Qualifications/Experience required:
• 5+ years of accomplished SaaS sales experience including traditional account management responsibilities. (Sales experience in sample management, scientific informatics and automation preferred.)
• Experience with R&D business and IT groups, sample management, bio banking/biorepositories preferred.
• Confident negotiator and ability to ‘close the deal’ at all levels within the client’s organization.
• Proven ability and track record of achieving sales quotas, CRM experience.

Location:
These roles can be remotely based.
Travel % - It is anticipated this could be up to 50%.
