The Role of Management Accountant:
The role of Management Accountant is to accurately process financial information to deliver monthly management accounts for the company and their US subsidiary.  You will provide a broad range of additional finance functions such as credit control, VAT returns, supplier payments and data analysis.  As well as take control of other functions such as ledgers, cash control / flow, bank reconciliations, fixed asset ledger maintenance, and ad hoc financial analysis as an example of a few of the responsibilities of the Management Accountant.

You will be working closely with the CFO when carrying out these duties as well as contributing to their ongoing strategy to develop the most efficient and effective processes to then implement these.  This will be with the purpose of keeping the financial systems developing to keep pace their changing business needs as they grow.

Desired Skills and Experience:
For this opportunity you will need to have several years’ experience in similar role as a Management Accountant, Assistant Accountant or Bookkeeper in a SME environment.  You will be experienced at using Sage with strong Excel skills.  Ideally you will be AAT and / or CIMA qualified or part qualified with multi – currency accounting experience.
