Summary
James Hume is recruiting for a Manufacturing Support Scientist to join a fast developing Biotech who have a unique technology to be based at their R&D site in Kent.  The role is to support the manufacture of their clinical trial formulations by providing a range of scientific expertise to help with novel and existing products and processes.  This role is within the Clinical Trial Manufacturing Team with the purpose to support them by providing a range of scientific data using a variety of tools, this is an innovative environment where you will be using your science to contribute to the development on products using

The Role
The Manufacturing Support Scientist is an exciting role where you will be able to use your science to support the development of novel and existing products.  This is a broad role where you will gain valuable experience to help with the progression of your career.  The primary focus of the role is to assist with the manufacture of clinical formulations as wells provide scientific data to help improve the manufacturing process using HPLC, GC and other physio chemical tests.  The purpose of this to successfully transfer products from R&D scale and stage to be suitable for use in trials and meet GMP standards.  In addition to the testing you will also work on continuous improvement initiatives, complete relevant quality documents, generate batch documentation and ensure GxP is maintained at all times.

Experience
You will need to have to have a degree or equivalent in a relevant subject such as biochemistry, molecular biology, biomedical sciences, formulation, and pharmaceutical sciences.  Experience of working in a GMP manufacturing environment is essential to your application.  If you have experience in tech transfer or the development of methods then this is advantageous to your application.
