An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for a New Products Manager with a leading Pharmaceutical company, focusing on identifying and project-managing opportunities within their Rare Diseases portfolio.  You will join one of the world’s leading Pharmaceutical / Healthcare businesses, based in Surrey (commutable from a range of locations), with the ability to work 2 days a week from home and travel around 20% of the time (including to New York, USA), undertaking a range of activities based around building strategic relationships with internal and external customers.

This is a 6-month contract initially, though there is a very good chance of longer-term extension. You will receive a generous pay rate, to be discussed on application.

The Role
As part of the Business Development Core Group, you will drive proactive scouting of regional opportunities that align with RD priorities. You will lead specific commercial forecast models to set the sales forecast, probabilities and risks. You will leverage insights from cross-functional colleagues to drive BD opportunities assessment and building a recommendation

You will support the New Products Lead in developing launch readiness plans for the pipeline products with specific focus on:

  • Understanding key regional insights and developing regional patient models/revenue forecasts
  • Designing and implementing market research across key countries to fulfil data gaps working
  • Supporting key country inputs in development of plans, as well as rollout of regional support/roadshow/key pipeline activities with markets, including the delivery of Quarterly Pipeline Updates to cross-functional colleagues
  • Support Pipeline Steering Group by driving the agenda and following up with cross-functional group to ensure alignment and effective resolution of pipelines related issues

Requirements
You will ideally have a degree (preferably with an MBA), together with regional / global marketing or commercial developing experience, ideally in Europe. You will need to be a strong collaborator with knowledge of Rare Diseases and / or International Developed Markets, with the ability to bring strategy and analysis to a tactical level and get projects started and driven to completion.
