Summary
Based in Horsham, West Sussex this is a rare opportunity to join a market leader that supplies and supports specialist precision humidity and moisture analysis and control systems. This is a highly-varied role involving proposing, providing and supporting solutions to both existing clients and in response to new client enquiries. This role will suit candidates with proven client service or sales experience that involves technical abilities with precision electronic or electro-mechanical equipment. Although this is a sales based role it does not involve any cold calling with all new clients being secured through product enquiries.

These are utilised in a range of specialist sectors and applications including the pharmaceutical, and healthcare product production, oil and gas exploration, fresh food preparation and packaging plus the conservation of museum, artwork and heritage items. The company is fully ISO accredited and offers complete solutions covering sourcing, installing and supporting products to clients’ specific needs. They operate predominantly in the UK and Ireland with increasing activity in Europe and are the exclusive agent for leading Swiss and UK based developers and manufacturers.
The Role
This is a very broad role involving all stages of the supply, installation and support of specialist humidity and moisture control solutions that meet client’s individual requirements. Working with existing clients or in response to new client enquiries, the job holder will gain a clear understanding of the requirements and formulate a proposal that includes equipment and services costings. On placement of order the Product Manager will source the appropriate solutions and manage the supply chain from order generation through to delivery and installation plus ongoing support services. The team is small, collaborative and supportive with the work taking place in the Horsham offices, workshop and laboratory facilities (3 – 4 days a week) as well as visiting clients sites (1-2 days a week). Full training will be provided in all aspects of the equipment and services.
Experience
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a proven track record in providing high quality client services in a business to business environment which could include account management or sales. You will need to have technical abilities with precision electronic or electro-mechanical equipment which could have been gained in a diagnostic, calibration, installation, maintenance or repair contexts. The company is flexible regarding the precise backgrounds with motivation, character, team fit and drive being of prime importance. You will need to be have a highly professional and pro-active approach backed by first rate written and verbal communication abilities.
This position involves the transportation and service of equipment so candidates will need to be in good health and physically capable. Due to the nature of some clients you will be subject to an enhanced DBS (formally CRB) disclosure and cannot suffer from any allergies related to penicillin or disinfectants. Also, a clean, full driving license is essential.
