Do you have experience in QA Batch release in a GMP environment? A new permanent role has been created for QA Batch Release Officer to join a pioneering Biopharmaceutical organisation in Worthing, West Sussex due to the growth of the company.


These are permanent position, paying a competitive salary depending on your experience plus benefits. The role will be site based 5 days a week in Worthing.

The Role
You will join a busy QA department that supports all company activities with close links to Manufacturing, Packaging, Validation, QC and Product Development, Sales & Marketing and Regulatory Affairs. This role is focuses on QA Documentation and Batch Record documentation release. You will be based around reviewing patient – specific batch records, ensuring that the batches of vaccines are able to be released promptly to patients (often young children) across Europe. You will review production records before QP release and support QA systems in change control, non – conformances, customer complaints and specific batch release when required.

This is a broad, challenging role that requires meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills and the ability to multitask. Full details will be provided on application.

Experience
The successful candidate will have a strong scientific/ technical background with experience gained in a Quality Assurance role in pharmaceutical manufacturing environment with minimum 2 years’ experience following GMP regulations. You will need to have 2 years’ experience in batch release. You will demonstrate the ability to multitask, use basic statistical tools and methods plus have proven abilities in Word, Excel. In addition, you will need a strong and enthusiastic work ethic, excellent communication skills and attention to detail and enjoy a closely-knit team environment.
