Have you got at least 3 years working in a GMP environment with a Pharmaceutical industry? Do you have a QMS background? Are you able to apply technical knowledge and make appropriate and timely risk based decisions?  If so, this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
 
A Quality Assurance Officer is required to join one of the UK’s top Pharmaceutical Companies, who are known for discovering and developing new and better ways to Treat Diseases. You will be responsible for ensuring all QA activities are performed in a timely manner to meet international GMP/GDP requirements, including all of the documentation associated with the production and testing of all clinical batches.


 
The role is initially a 6 month contract position, with a good chance of extension beyond this. This is a hybrid role with their office being based in Hurley and for a highly experienced Quality Assurance Officer who can fulfil all the essential criteria, there is a competitive hourly rate ranging up to £19.50 per hour which equivalates to £30,000 depending on experience.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
  • To comply and review batch documents and regulatory dossiers to ensure they meet international GMP/GDP requirements
  • To resolve manufacturing, testing, packaging, and supply chain issues
  • Complete all relevant documentation to support the QP in the release of drug products
  • To assist in the maintenance of quality systems including complaint handling, deviations, change control, quality metrics reporting, temperature excursion resolution and retention systems
  • Liaise with QM, QP and supply chain colleagues
 
 
 
 
 
Knowledge/Skills Requirements:
 
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing, distribution and control measures background
  • Ability to follow SOP’S
  • Experience with QMS
  • Sterile injectable manufacture background
  • Knowledge of manufacture of novel dosage forms
  • Packaging experience
  • Previous Global manufacture and supply chain experience
