Quality Systems Coordinator

My client is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Coordinator to join their busy team based in Weybridge, Surrey offering a salary of up to £33,000 plus a Pension, 25 days holiday and Private Medical Insurance.  

Reporting to the QHSE Manager the Quality Systems Coordinator will be responsible for all aspects of the mapping and auditing of the business work processes in accordance with ISO 9001 protocols.

The role will also work in support of the businesses transition to an AQAP compliant quality process to meet the growing QA requirements of products being delivered to military customers. You will also have a significant part to play in coordinating and overseeing internal quality audits to ensure that all internal co-ordination, planning, scheduling, project execution and relevant activities are being carried out in line with the groups Quality Management System. 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead internal process audits covering end to end business processes.
Create and Maintain management reports in SAP.
Establishing and reporting Performance Metrics, KPI’s, monthly reports etc.
Meeting internal business reporting requirements.
Supporting customer progress reporting meetings and compilation of associated reports.
Discuss and control the implementation and release of new process and procedures - system improvements.
Approving of all internal and customer documentation in line with requirements and Company standards.
Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Project use and control, define and monitor progress against plan.
Support QHSE Manager in the running of ISO 9001 (QA) business improvement plan.
To understand and comply with Company policies and procedures including, but not limited to, ISO9001 and ISO14001.
Be involved in the re-write of Quality Manuals (ISO 9001 and AQAP)

Suitable Candidates will need the following skills/experience:

Relevant qualification in a quality engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience.
An understanding of quality systems and processes such as ISO9001, AQAP PPAP FMEA Control plans (key focus will be ISO 9001 and AQAP)
Experience of procedure and quality manual re-writes (ISO 9001 and AQAP) 
An Aerospace background or other precision manufacturing backgrounds would be considered.
Experience dealing with Senior and sometimes challenging individuals.
Understanding of system integration and configuration management.
Possess drive, energy and enthusiasm to motivate and lead.
Risk and opportunity management. 
Subcontract and customer management. 
Recent experience of project management.
The flexibility to travel within the UK.
Experience of lean manufacturing and  5Y analysis.
Eligible for UK Security Clearance to minimum SC (‘Secret’) level.

In addition to all of the above skills, my client is looking for a strong team player who has good problem solving skills and is able to react to different circumstances whilst maintaining composure and focus on your objectives.  Due to the nature of my clients work, you will need to be able to gain security clearance (minimum SC Secret Level) to perform this role.
