An exciting new sales position has arisen to join a market leader of quality healthcare equipment, covering the Midlands territory between Leeds and Birmingham. Focusing on developing key accounts within the care home sector.

Overview

A well-established manufacturer and distributor of pressure care devices for the care home and community market, developing innovative new devices to provide support for patients alongside quality and value. My client requires a Regional Sales Account Manager to grow existing accounts and establish new business in this strategic location. Working with key clients, with chains of up to 20 separate care homes, you will be integral to driving the business forward and building rapport with clients as the face of the company.

The Role

My client requires a confident and positive person that can evidence prior experience of sales excellence and a history of securing new business, over a minimum of three years within the care home sector. Experience of working with pressure care products would be advantageous but not essential, as would a working knowledge of LOLER regulations and their application within this environment. You will also need to reside within the defined territory area to allow ease of access to the office and customer base.

Working with clients to understand and address their needs and providing advice on product solutions, you will need strong presentation and negotiation skills, coupled with a strong understanding of product specifications and forthcoming developments. Responsible for structuring your visits to clients and potentials clients you will need to be organised and energetic with the desire and ability to sell. The role will be field based with a once weekly attendance at the office in Rotheram, to meet with other members of the sales team and discuss developments and share market information.

Internal Sales support will be provided to assist with follow ups and appointment management, allowing you more time to develop customer relationships to facilitate sales; so, communication with internal departments will be key to ensure accurate capture of information into the company’s CRM system for lead generation purposes.
