Are you a commercially-minded Graduate, looking to build on your experience in a prestigious global organisation? If so, this is a genuinely unique career opportunity.

A major Pharmaceutical organisation in Swindon has created a new vacancy for a Value Pricing Associate, to join their Project Management group on a contract basis for 9 months initially, though there is a very good chance that this will become a longer-term role. Using your first-rate communication skills, you will spend a few months getting to know the company’s current pricing systems, before then beginning to identify ways to charge for additional add-on services which have historically not be chargeable. Ultimately, you will become responsible for project management and design of the value pricing process to ensure the company identifies and implements ways to charge for its supplementary technical services.

You will work closely with the Project Management and Operations teams and will get the opportunity to really develop your understanding of the Pharmaceutical outsource process.

You will be paid an hourly rate which is equivalent to an annual salary up to £25,000, depending on experience. You will ideally live within commutable distance of Swindon and be able to start at relatively short notice.

The Company
A major Pharmaceutical service organisation based in Swindon, Wiltshire. Across 30+ sites worldwide, the company offers a range of drug development, manufacturing, packaging and distribution services to the global pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The Swindon site is a R&D and manufacturing facility, producing both large and smaller quantities of patented products. This is an excellent environment in which to gain new experiences and develop your skills. Full details will be provided on application.

The Contract
The contract is offered for an initial period of 9 months, with the strong possibility of extension beyond this, though this is not guaranteed. You will be paid a competitive hourly rate, up to the equivalent to £25,000, in line with industry standards including holiday allowance.

Requirements
The successful candidate needs to have a degree (ideally scientific, though this is not essential), ideally backed with some experience in a commercially-focused position. Some experience in project planning, value pricing, proposals or quotations management would be a significant advantage. You will need to demonstrate first-rate communication and problem-solving skills and the ability to scrutinise and interpret technical documentation and data in order to compile detailed pricing proposals. Above all else, you must be a hard-working, reliable individual who gets on well with people at all levels.
