Opportunity has arisen for a Health Economics and Outcomes Research Manager to join an incredibly well-established and innovative biotech company in London.

What you’ll be doing

Leading the execution of HEOR and HEMA projects. This will involve;

  • Managing and steering team members to ensure deliverables are in line with agreed parameters
  • Engaging and communicating with stakeholders and clients
  • Take ownership of internal communications with other sectors of the business
  • Reviewing relevant clinical and health-economic evidence, guidelines and Health Technology Assessments
  • Conducting cost-utility and budget impact analysis
  • Developing reports utilising Microsoft packages, making recommendations in topics related to pricing, reimbursement and market access.
Help develop the position of the business in the market by;

  • Identifying challenges and establishing strategies to enable sustainable environment for the growth of the cell and gene therapy industry.
  • Drive reimbursement and market access-related environmental shaping initiatives
  • Push publication of peer-reviewed articles
  • Present at conferences and webinars
Support commercial activities by;

  • Communicate the HEMA frameworks to internal business development teams
  • Get involved in BD activities such as meetings and engaging with clients, as well as developing proposals
  • Develop offerings, promotional materials and proposals of clinical adoption services
  • Line management, performance management and mentoring of the HEMA team.
Required Experience

  • A minimum of 6 years experience from consulting, industry or other relevant roles in the life science sector
  • Experience in healthcare technology evaluation and reviewing clinical and health economic evidence
  • Demonstrable experience with all aspects of health economic models for cost-utility and budget impact analyses
  • Experience of delivering pricing, reimbursement and market access analysis for the pharmaceutical industry
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Educated up to post graduate level
