Senior Solution Engineer – LIMS LabVantage
Our client is a leading global consulting organisation specialising in Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). They deliver end-to-end expertise across business process engineering, system architecture, validation, implementation, go-live, and hyper-care — supporting clients in building modern, efficient, and compliant informatics landscapes.
They are now expanding their LIMS division and seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to join their growing team.
The right person needs to have experience:
Experience: 5+ years working with LabVantage LIMS.
Technical skillset: Experience in system architecture or programming (e.g., Java, JavaScript, SQL, Python).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to design data models and manage complex configurations.
Familiarity with laboratory workflows and ideally with regulated/GxP environments.
Description:
Lead the design, development, and deployment of bespoke LIMS platforms (with a strong focus on LabVantage).
Bridge business needs and technical delivery: transform user requirements into robust technical solutions.
Develop, customize, and maintain system modules, interfaces, and integrations.
Execute functional testing, system integration, and user acceptance phases to ensure quality.
Provide ongoing technical guidance during implementation, validation, go-live, and hyper-care.
Document architecture, workflow designs, and technical specs, and produce user-friendly manuals.
Mentor and coach junior engineers, contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
