An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for an Insight Manager with experience in both FMCG and in working with a major retailer such as Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons or Boots. You will join one of the world’s leading Pharmaceutical / Healthcare businesses, based in Surrey (commutable from a range of locations) and undertake a range of activities based around building strategic relationships with internal and external customers.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Using diverse information sources to identify changes in consumer, shopper and retailer attitudes and behaviours
- Analysing diverse data and information sources to evaluate competitors’, PCH and retailers’ strengths and weaknesses to help drive brand and trade strategy development
- Being the brand advocate – proactively work to maximise: rate of sale, range, space, listings and display of PCH brands in key retailers/wholesalers
- Space planning and the ability to develop and present fact-based selling arguments and presentations for our retail and wholesale customers
- Project leadership – planning and executing activities / projects to achieve the agreed result
- Building strategic relationships with internal and external customers
- Presenting to and communicating with all groups in the relationships area
- Evaluating and advising on external data and research proposals
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have experience in category management, sales, retail or trade marketing, preferably backed with a relevant degree and a genuine interest in insight management. Full details will be provided on application – get in contact ASAP!
