Are you a hard-working, ambitious individual, with an excellent work ethic and the ability to work well in a busy, collaborative team? Do you have experience in GMP/GLP, gained in a highly regulated Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Food environment? Do you have a strong warehouse background, handling temperature-sensitive materials and organising stock control and goods in / out?
 
Due to an internal promotion, a role has arisen for a Stock Control Technician, to join the Supply Chain team of a visionary scientific organisation near Twickenham, in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company (currently 150 people) that has attracted a lot of attention for its pioneering approach to making life-changing therapies for patients with specific conditions.
 
We are looking for someone with experience in stock control, with a good knowledge of using a SAP system, following strict regulations (ideally GMP), and experience of checking and releasing shipments.
 
This will be a varied, fast-paced permanent role, paying a very competitive salary and excellent benefits. You will work on site, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 4pm.
 
Summary  
 
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will join a team of 3 other Stock Control Technicians and will have a busy role that includes:
 
  • Receiving and process deliveries (including biological material), using a state-of-the-art scanning system
  • Raising Purchase Orders
  • Picking, checking and releasing materials (enzymes, lab equipment etc) into Production
  • Ongoing stock control in the warehouse
  • Labelling stock and monitoring temperature logs and expiry dates
  • Co-ordinating outbound shipments of final products to clients
  • Ensuring correct documentation and processing of information on the SAP system

The Package 
 
This is a permanent role paying a competitive salary (up to £30,000 depending on experience, to discuss on application). Experience 
 
The successful candidate will be a hard-working person who communicates well with people at levels, enjoys juggling different activities and maintains a high quality of work. As you will be joining a highly regulated company, you will need to follow specific rules while sticking to tight schedules. You will need to have experience in GMP or similar, whether from Pharma, Biotech, Food or an equivalent Quality-led environment. You must have stock control and / or warehouse experience, with an awareness of expiry dates, temperature controls and maintenance of regulatory documentation.
