An urgent contract role has arisen for a Supply Chain Management contractor, to join a young VC-backed biotech company who are opening a new production facility. Headquartered in Guildford, Surrey, the company is opening a GMP facility in Cranleigh, Surrey and you will manage the setup and maintenance of robust supply chain management processes. This is a contract for a period of around 3 months (with possible extension), to implement processes which will then be taken forward by a permanent Logistics Technician. If you have strong supply chain / logistics skills, backed with experience of setting up processes from scratch, please contact Next Phase ASAP to discuss this unique opportunity.

Company Description
An innovative business who have developed a new and innovative method of drug delivery using elemental silicon. They are able to produce it in a variety of shapes and can customise the drug carrier to carry a range of ingredients, ranging from DNA to vitamins and proteins. They are also able to alter the design of their carrier to be polypharmaceutical, allowing several different methods for administration and timed release. The company originally started in Belfast but have since branched out to England and are now opening a purpose-built facility near Cranleigh. You will need your own transport to drive between sites.

The Opportunity

The company will also be recruiting a permanent Logistics Technician and you will set up a series of processes which will then be taken forward by the permanent member of staff.

Experience
You must be a highly skilled Supply Chain consultant, with extensive experience in setting up robust systems for highly regulated products. Knowledge of GMP / GDP is desirable, as is previous experience of working with small / start-up businesses in a consultancy capacity. Full details will be disclosed on application.
