My client is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing T cell therapies for the treatment of cancer. The company is engineering precisely targeted, controlled and highly active T cell therapies that are designed to better recognise cancer cells, break down their defence mechanisms and eliminate these cells. Their pipeline includes assets in development for the treatment of haematological malignancies and solid tumours.

Overview:
There is an immediate opportunity for bright, enthusiastic person to join a manufacturing team committed to delivering high quality products for use in clinical trial programmes. The role will be based in Stevenage, but there will also be opportunities to work within established academic centres in the London area, as well as working from home.

Responsibilities:
• Working with the Clinical, Technical and Quality Teams to plan and schedule apheresis and drug manufacturing slots
• Working with engineering to allow downtime to maintain equipment on a cyclical schedule.
• Working with manufacturing staff (Production and QC) to allow for staff aseptic broth manipulations so that the staff maintain operational status.
• Establish, create, and maintain effective working relationships with the warehouse, contractors on site and core manufacturing teams. 
• Responsible for planning routine and non-routine operations
• Maintaining spreadsheets and databases for scheduling, resourcing, capacity and metric reporting. 

Qualifications/Experience required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics/Biology/Biomedical Science/ or related discipline or experience in a GMP field 
• Several years experience in a logistics or operations environment
• Strong supply chain scheduling experience
