Alex Dobson is recruiting for a brand new, exciting job opportunity for a hard-working, experienced Team Leader to join an expanding Electronics Manufacturer based in West Sussex. You will be responsible for the running of the and management of the engineers on a day to day basis. The role will help with this preparation and coordination of the maintenance and calibrations within the services team. The growth scale of this role will see the eventual person running the whole services team and stepping up within the company.


The Company
An electronics manufacturer providing innovative solutions for monitoring environmental conditions throughout perishable goods supply chains within the UK and Ireland. The monitoring process consists of measuring, recording and managing data. Then, based on the stability criteria, the data is assessed for release or alarm. The company’s solutions result in the lowest total cost of ownership for their customers while ensuring compliance and maximum efficiency. The main industries they serve are in the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors as well as the environmental management, bio-banking & life sciences and the food industries. They provide industries with solutions for laboratory, production, storage and transportation through to the end user. Their ultimate goal is to constantly improve the market and customer orientation. They adhere to ISO9000/17025 guidelines and GMP/GLP requirements for the pharmaceutical industry as well as UKAS accreditation.

The Role
The role of Team Leader is varied, requiring both technical ability and strong communication skills. Your main duties will include:

 

  • Functional and personal leadership of the service teams
  • Plan and manage installations, calibration and qualification projects
  • Produce weekly and monthly reports for Senior Managers and the Managing Director
  • Visit client sites to review processes and provided technical solutions to problems
  • Compose and reviewing service contracts
  • Conduct internal audits and maintain the company’s quality system
  • Conduct appraisals
  • Coordinating training and development for on-site engineers
  • Executing GxP Documentation

Experience
You will need to have come from an engineering background and have experience in leading a team of engineers. This includes motivating staff and they work together as a team. Experience in calibrations and monitoring systems would be advantageous. Customer Service and Project Management experience are a must.
