Weybridge
Weybridge is a town close to London and surrounded by the beautiful Surrey countryside by the River Wey. It is attached to the north by the River Thames at the mouth of the Wey, from which it gets its name. Weybridge is so old in fact that it appears in the Doomsday Book of 1086 as Webrige and Webruge. The wildlife on Weybridge Heath contains many species of rare insects and birds. In recent years, the heath had become increasingly overgrown before the Surrey Wildlife Trust set about restoring it to its former glory. Companies such as Alliance Boots, Sony Corporation, Procter and Gamble and Toshiba have their headquarters based in Weybridge.
Easily commutable to London, towns nearby include Shepperton, Walton-on-Thames, Addlestone, and Chertsey.
