I am currently working with an amazing client who develop software and provide consultancy services for pharmaceutical and biotechnology organisations. For over 20 years, this client has remained focused on delivering innovative, accessible and reliable science to research chemists in industry and academia. 

This client is currently looking for an Account Manager who would be responsible for for the UK and Europearn customer base. 

Some of the responsibilities of the Account Manager would include: 

  • Efficient follow-up of lead generation activity
  • Maintain management of new and existing client accounts
  • Work with the software team to ensure adequate resources for pre-sales activities
  • Delivering and reporting of progress to the Head of European Sales against the agreed commercial targets as defined in the Territory Sales Forecast
  • Ensuring the routine operation of the Customer Relationship Management system for the UK and European customer baseWork with Marketing to develop and implement campaigns to promote software
  • Work with Finance Administration to ensure efficient purchase order processing
  • Defining account plans for strategically important prospects and customers
  • Represent the company and attend conferences, seminars and exhibitions within the territory
  • Monitoring expenditure in all territory sales and marketing activities, including travel, expenses, entertainment, accommodation, conference fees, and ensuring it remain within agreed budget and business plan
  • Ensure feedback on competitive intelligence gained from third parties
