One of the most unique and stylish Design companies in East Sussex is now hiring for a Graphic Designer/Illustrator to join their growing team in their vibrant office in Hailsham.
With ambitious growth plans, an established brand and real unique style in the market, this company is now looking for a Graphic Designer / Illustrator / Surface Pattern Textile Designer to come in and join their dynamic small design team. With on the job training and a great capacity to grow in the role and expand your skill, you will be a creative and proactive designer with a range of skills and a keen eye for fashion. You will be responsible for design research and for coming up with product ideas and taking these ideas through the design development process, all the way through to production. You will be a confident illustrator, able to communicate your ideas well, as well as a capable graphic designer. You will be working off of specific design briefs for new products as well as supporting exhibition stands by creating displays and props.
A highly creative and ambitious Designer, you will be confident in the following skills;
- Proficient user of Photoshop, Illustrator and Outlook
- Highly skilled illustrator
- Good communicator of ideas and illustrations
- Degree educated in arts or the creative, or equivalent working experience
With some professional experience and a creative focused education, you will join the company and become a key part of the design team. There a fantastic capacity for growth in this role, in a company that really encourages on the job learning. This role would well suit a recent University graduate or someone who is looking to make the step up into commercial design.
