An experienced HTA (Health Technology Assessment) Associate Director is required on an initial 12-month contract (likelihood of extension). Paying a competitive rate and offering the chance to work most of the role remotely, this will be a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to make the difference for a global Pharmaceutical company. The role will require some travel to site in Surrey (1 – 2 times a week).
HTA Associate Director objectives:
- Good understanding of the rapidly evolving reimbursement landscape
- Be able to pick up a Pfizer asset and work with the relevant Pfizer cross functional team to agree the right approach for re-imbursement,
- Understand (and potential build out further) the market access strategy upon which the HTA submission will be built
- Create the narrative for an HTA submission
- Refine the CE model and understand how the cost effectiveness analysis will shape both the submission and the pricing strategy
Required skillset to be the successful HTA Associate Director:
- Project management of an HTA submission (NICE, SMC) from start to finish
- Gene therapy HTA submission experience
- If required, establishing core HTA working group(s), defining the HTA strategy and achieving X-functional internal sign-off
- Ability to summarise the competitor environment the asset will launch into
- Management of the budget for vendor support for the submission
- Sourcing, interpreting and generating clinical and economic data that underpins HTA submissions
- Providing advise (if required) on the most appropriate PRO measures/endpoints to be included within clinical studies and additional RWE requirements beyond the study to support HTA submissions and address data gaps
- Writing of sections, and coordination of the whole HTA submission, on time
- Providing technical input into economic models; evidence synthesis projects as well as pricing and HTA readiness activities
- Willingness to develop crude economic models off limited data sets (if required)
- Completion and x-functional sign off in a timely fashion to meet internal and external deadlines
- Behavioural skills: strong communication skills and be able to work with a cross functional team
