Our client's mission is to discover and manufacture cutting-edge medicines that help patients in a number of therapeutic areas such as immunology, oncology, neuroscience, virology, and women's health. Due to a significant investment, they are currently looking for an IT Systems and Applications Team Lead.
The main purpose will be to provide end-to-end solutions and maintanance of Laboratory Systems (such as MES, LIMS, ELN, SCADA, DCS. You will also execute projects taht enable digital enablement and lead a small team of engineers.
This role is a full time, permanent position based in Westport, Ireland.
Responsibilities:
• Guide, inspire, and empower your team to enhance their performance through clear communication of task objectives and milestones, fostering an environment conducive to productivity
• Oversee the operational aspects of BTS manufacturing and laboratory facilities, ensuring transparency in performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Evaluate and compare the digitalization and Factory of the Future capabilities of the site to industry standards.
• Uphold cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, and data integrity standards across all manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with Global BTS, OES, Infrastructure, and Quality teams to maintain high service standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives for site operations.
• Manage the budget for BTS site operations, including systems, licenses, services, and local projects in Manufacturing and Lab areas as directed by the Manager.
