LIMS Developer - London

A fast paced, environment working for clients in the Oil & Gas industry, they are now looking for a highly experienced SampleManager Developer to join their dedicated team.

With deep knowledge across Thermo Fisher SampleManager and broad LIMS experience in developing SampleManager Reports and Schedules, you will be part of a team of LIMS developers. As one of the senior LIMS specialists within the office, you will be responsible for writing test plans, test specifications and performing Unit tests as well as FAT and SAT. With a good understanding of lab integration, you will be responsible for developing solutions to integrate lab instruments with scientific packages. You will be performing database configuration, optimization and queries required to execute LIMS configuration.

With strong technical skills and a desire to lead a team of highly adept engineers, you will have proficiency in the following;

-          Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS
-          Test plans, Unit testing and FAT and SAT
-          Migration, Administration, Integration and Upgrading abilities
-          Translating client requirements into design documents
-          Experience with LIMS interfaces
-          Troubleshooting and debugging knowledge of SampleManager applications
-          Configuration, optimization and query generation knowledge
