As a Manufacturing Technologist, you will join a team of passionate and enthusiastic scientists based in Stevenage, Herts, who focus on developing a cure for cancer using cell therapies. This is a permanent position offering an excellent salary and benefits package (including a large annual bonus) to the right candidate.

We are looking for collaborative individuals to join an excellent company who are right at the cutting edge of the cell and gene industry and developing ways to manufacture cell therapies in a state-of-the-art GMP environment.

The Role

Your main responsibilities as a Manufacturing Technologist will include:

  • Carrying out manufacturing support activities, material transfer stock management, equipment cleaning and maintenance.

  • Remaining in compliance with quality management and GMP systems

  • Drafting, preparing and revising GMP documentation including Batch Manufacturing Records, SOPs, change controls, manufacturing protocols and reports.

  • Supporting adherence to manufacturing targets and schedules

  • Contributing to planning and execution of work packages in validation, manufacturing improvement projects, tech transfer activities and procedure development

  • Contributing to deviation management, root cause analysis, process risk management and CAPA processing

Requirements

We are looking for hard-working, committed individuals looking to develop a long-term career in the cell therapy production industry. You will need to demonstrate excellent communication skills, versatility and a positive attitude towards working in a collaborative team.

You will need an educational background (MSc or BSc preferred) in Biology, Biomedical Science, Biochemical Engineering, Immunology, Haematology, Pharmacology or similar, together with some experience gained within a regulated, process-driven environment such as a GMP clean room. A thorough understanding of GMP regulations, aseptic processing and clean room practices would be a strong advantage.

You must be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of T-cell / mammalian cell culture, as well as how this scientific learning can be applied in a GMP manufacturing context.

Full details will be provided on application. This is a permanent role based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, paying an excellent salary, benefits and bonus.
