APricing Analyst needed for a advanced therapies company based in Oxford. This company develops pioneering technologies to accelerate the discovery and buomenufacture of cell and gene therapies. This company is very collaborative and ambitious, they are currently pushing boundrues of possibility in order to develop therapeutics from laboratory research all through to the manufacture. 

The main responsibility of the pricing analyst will be to support pricing across a portfolio of services. This position requires strong analytical skills, an understanding of negotiating techniques and demonstrable pricing experience. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop pricing tools for standard services and support the commercial team with pricing for custom projects

  • Support the training and use of new pricing tools/approaches

  • Manage pricing approvals, liaising with various stakeholders

  • Retrieve, consolidate, analyse, and summarize historical and market pricing and make appropriate business and price recommendations based on industry condition and market trends

  • Drive a consistent pricing methodology and promote a value based approach

  • Produce management reports reflecting pricing metrics

  • Participate in periodic margin reviews

  • Support with ROI analysis to drive a value based approach to new pricing.


Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance/Mathematics/Engineering/IT/Comp Science or other analytical field

  • Experience pricing service offerings

  • Previous experience in an analytical role

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills

  • Team player, able to build relationships quickly and an ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate desired outcomes

  • Strong excel skills

  • Good organisational skills are necessary, as is the ability to use own initiative

  • Forecasting experience

  • Life sciences business experience
