​We’re hiring a Director of Business Development (EU) for a leading global CRO supporting the biopharmaceutical, cell, and gene therapy industries. With cutting-edge, integrated analytical services spanning from early research to product launch, this CRO is a critical partner to organizations shaping the future of medicine.
In this pivotal commercial role, you'll lead business development efforts across Europe and select global markets, focusing on protein and gene analytical services that support biologics and advanced therapies.
🌍 What You’ll Be Doing
• Own the full BD lifecycle – from market segmentation and lead generation to proposals, negotiation, and closing high-value deals
• Drive growth across the biologics and cell/gene therapy sectors by expanding the client base and deepening existing partnerships
• Shape commercial strategy and collaborate cross-functionally to align client needs with tailored service solutions
• Represent the company at global conferences, trade shows, and high-impact networking events
• Lead and build internal BD systems to support scaling and commercial excellence
🎯What We're Looking For
We’re seeking a strategic and hands-on commercial leader who thrives in complex, science-driven environments.
• 7+ years’ experience within business development or solution-based selling within CROs, biotech of biopharma.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in biologics drug development.
• Proven sales success in advanced biologics, analytical, or gene therapy markets.
• Strong understanding of biopharmaceutical drug development and analytics, particularly for biosimilars and NBEs.
• Self-starter with the ability to wok independently, manage ambiguity and drive initiatives with minimum oversight.
