An exciting opportunity for a Senior International Business Development Manager to join a company who is looking to advance the growth of the UK cell and gene therapy industry, by bridging the gap between scientific research and full-scale commercialisation.
They have an additional requirement for a Senior International Business Development Manager to join their London site. The right candidate will have a PhD in cell and gene therapy related degree and a number of years in Business Development.
The main purpose of this role will be to shape, lead, and evolve the companies international Business Development activity. Key to success will be to identify and transact deals generating commercial and collaborative R&D income for the company, in line with corporate aims and for the ultimate benefit of the UK. The focus will be on clients in North America, which would require some travel.
The core relationships that will be developed are with bio-tech and pharmaceutical companies and Collaborators, leading academic institutions, and technology transfer offices. Once work has started, the role will manage the relationships with Collaborators to ensure smooth running of the projects as well as identifying areas where further contracts can be secured.
I am looking for an individual who has extensive knowledge in cell and gene therapies and has strong Business Development background. The right candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships and be target driven.
